About LunaSign

LunaSign is an English-language astrology site with one founding rule: calculated, not guessed. Most astrology websites look your sign up in a birthday table that was approximated decades ago. We compute the actual positions of the Sun and Moon for your birth moment using the astronomy-engine ephemeris library, then interpret the result in plain, honest language.

The site is the international sister of a long-running Chinese astrology service. The two are separate brands on separate infrastructure; this edition was written from scratch for English readers, in English — not translated.

What we are, and what we are not

Astrology is a tradition of interpretation that many people find meaningful, reflective and fun. It is not a science, and LunaSign is an entertainment product. We take the astronomy seriously because getting the chart right is a matter of respect for the craft — and we present interpretations as exactly that: interpretations, for you to weigh. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial or professional advice.

How our content is made

Zodiac profiles and guides are original editorial writing by the LunaSign team. Daily, weekly and monthly horoscopes are currently produced from a curated template library seeded by sign and date — an honest stopgap while we build the fully personalised edition based on transits to individual birth charts. Some site copy is drafted with AI assistance and human editing; calculations themselves are pure astronomy, performed by code, not by a language model.

Privacy, briefly

Our calculators run entirely in your browser: birth data never leaves your device. The waitlist stores your email address (currently in your browser only, until the reports launch opens server capture) for the single purpose of telling you when a product you asked about is available. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
